These cards are officially licensed and distributed by ShiningSoul in China. Please note that redemption codes included with the cards are only valid for the Chinese server and will not be provided by default. If you’re interested in acquiring an unrevealed card that includes a redeemable code—for collection purposes, regardless of its functionality on the international server—please do let us know via email.
Why Don’t We Have R and N Rarity Cards?
When we first released the Reverse 1999 UTTU Cards, I had just finished production and listed the items online. I purchased roughly 40,000 cards in total, and based on the actual inventory, we put nearly 300 sets of N cards and 300 sets of R cards up on the website.
However, around March, a buyer ended up purchasing our entire stock of N and R cards. I believe this happened because I priced them too low. I only took into account the lower rarity of the N and R cards, I didn’t consider that each set comes with 28 cards, which made the selling price per set quite low, even lower than the prices you might find for N and R cards in the Chinese Mainland market.
I’m really sorry to say that following that order, we no longer have any N or R cards available.

This is the same reviewer who reviewed the card quality on the month of June. I meant to update that review but didn’t have time until now to actually do it. I also don’t see an option to actually change or adjust the review, so I’m just going to add this review as I intended to bump up the review to 4/5 stars, so this should even out the average.
The support team reached out to me and wanted to resolve the issue. I believe they’ve sufficiently resolved it so this is why I’m updating this review. I do recommend purchasing from this shop as they are in fact legitimate. The support team seems to be very responsive. Don’t expect the cards to be in 100% perfect condition, but they won’t be completely damaged and bent out of shape. There will only be minor damage to corners if there is any damage at all. I appreciate the support team reaching out to me and definitely intend to purchase from them again if I have any other Reverse 1999 merchandise I want to buy.

Nice quality and semi holographic cards with film strip effect. Was surprised to get a full set of LR cards for the price!

I was very worried that the cards would come super damaged based on the back and forth messaging I had with the support team, but I was surprised there was only minor damage to them. The packaging itself was fine. The outside was a Poly Mailer, followed by a Bubble Envelope, followed by actual bubble wrap, followed by cardboard taped fairly tightly sandwiching two Reverse1999 Postcards (free of charge) holding all the cards in-between them. The problem was with the actual cards themselves. The way the SP card was kept was likely what ended up damaging the card. The SP Card came in a perfect fit clear sleeve inside of a plastic hinged case. All other cards come in plastic wrappers and are vacuum sealed (tight, but not too tight) to prevent movement inside of the wrapper. They unfortunately didn’t include an AR Card for all the SE cards, but the AR cards themselves are all the same so one works for all of them.
The SE cards actually held up rather well. As far as I could see no damage was done to them. The SP Card on the other hand came damaged. You can see in the picture the bottom right corner that it was likely damaged with movement inside of the plastic case. A Penny Sleeve & Card Saver would’ve kept the card in perfect condition during shipment.
Overall I would say that if you are aiming to resell these cards then I wouldn’t bother purchasing. I bought them to keep and admire myself so although I am bummed out by the damage to the cards, they aren’t so severe that they’re noticeable.
If I could give half a star I would give 3.5/5. Bonus points for the actual packaging of the cards because it was kept very airtight, waterproof, humidity proof, sunlight proof, and holding everything firmly together.
-1 star for the minor damage to the SP card.
-1 star for not including an AR card for every SE card.
